5 Tips for Traveling With Your Baby

TRAVELING WITH YOUR BABY - HERE ARE SOME TIPS FOR TRAVELING WITH YOUR BABY.

1. Be prepared for something that feels more like a “trip” than a “vacation.” Discuss your to-do list and packing list with your partner beforehand. Brainstorm strategies because traveling can become very mentally overwhelming – especially if this is new territory.

2. For better sleep, try to keep the bedtime setting as close to home as possible. This may mean bringing a portable sound machine and Travel Blackout Blind to mimic your home set up.

Both can be found in our Sleep Essentials Kit.

3. PACKING CUBES are a game changer. We like to organize ours by “routine.” Make one packing cube for all diaper changing essentials, another for daytime outfits (each in their own ziplock bag), and a third for bedtime routine (lovies, overnight diapers, travel monitor, pajamas) etc.

4. Bring extra clothes for everyone in the diaper bag. Blowouts happen! Reduce your chances of a blowout by putting on a swim diaper over an overnight diaper for extra protection.

5. If possible, feed your baby when taking off and landing, to ease ear pain caused by cabin pressure. Speaking of pressure, anything goes on the plane, don’t worry about what other people think.
